DuckDuckGo is a competitor to both companies’ search engines, although you can change your search provider manually if you choose. With Mozilla adding DuckDuckGo to its default search options in Firefox, that leaves Microsoft Internet Explorer, and of course Google Chrome without. The aim of this is to give you information from the best sources, rather than the most popular. Great news for people concerned with online privacy: Mozilla will integrate DuckDuckGo into the next version of Firefox.
